Explorers Juniors – U12 Purples

Managers : Nick Mitchell – Gary O’ Loughlin

Training : Saturday 10.15-11.45 am – Sipson Recreational Ground

Coached by Nick Mitchell (FA Level 1 and FA Level 1 Goalkeeping) and Gary O’Loughlin (FA Level 1) both coaches have full DBS certification, First Aid, and Child Safeguarding training.

Matches are 9 v 9 and played in the South Bucks Mini Soccer Conference

Player development is key to our coaching and we train to the FA Long-Term Player Development (Four Corner model) where we focus on :

Technical: Ball control, Possession, Positioning, Foot Skills, Understanding Pressure, Making Space, and Group play.
Psychological: Decision Making, Gaining confidence, Patience, Making and Learning from Mistakes, Rules, and Awareness
Physical: Movement On/Off the ball, Co-ordination, Conditioning/ Health, and Challenges
Social: Communication, Self-Esteem, and Teamwork
