Explorers U13 Reds train on Saturday morning coached by Lewis Simpson and Joe Buckland – all coaches have full DBS check, First Aid, and Child Safeguarding training.

Matches are 11 v 11 and played in the Wycombe and South Bucks Minor Football League

Player development is key to our coaching and we train to the FA Long-Term Player Development (Four Corner model) where we focus on :

  • Technical: Ball control, Possession, Positioning, Foot Skills, Understanding Pressure, Making Space, and Group play.
  • Psychological: Decision Making, Gaining confidence, Patience, Making and Learning from Mistakes, Rules, and Awareness
  • Physical: Movement On/Off the ball, Co-ordination, Conditioning/ Health, and Challenges
  • Social: Communication, Self-Esteem, and Teamwork
