Explorers U15 Blues train on Saturday morning coached by Chairman James Shipperley (FA Level 1) and Paul Davenport (FA Level 1) and Louis Bunn (FA Level 1) and all coaches have full DBS certification, First Aid, and Child Safeguarding training.

Matches are 11 v 11 and played in the Wycombe and South Bucks Minor Football League

Player development is key to our coaching and we train to the FA Long-Term Player Development (Four Corner model) where we focus on :

  • Technical: Ball control, Possession, Positioning, Foot Skills, Understanding Pressure, Making Space, and Group play.
  • Psychological: Decision Making, Gaining confidence, Patience, Making and Learning from Mistakes, Rules, and Awareness
  • Physical: Movement On/Off the ball, Co-ordination, Conditioning/ Health, and Challenges
  • Social: Communication, Self-Esteem, and Teamwork
